One Nation A Match Made at Wembley
Wembley Entertainment Centre • Saturday 25 May 1996. Seven exact Rave Archive UK recordings survive from the event. Several recording addresses carry the Amazon Jungle Collection name, reflecting the tape pack through which the recordings circulated rather than the title of the rave itself.
The event first, the tape pack second
The surviving RAUK copies bring together Grooverider, Micky Finn, Darren Jay, Hype, Randall, Jumpin Jack Frost, Andy C, Kenny Ken and Ray Keith, with GQ, Stevie Hyper D, Flux and Fearless preserved across the MC combinations.
Several Mixcloud addresses include the Amazon Jungle Collection name. That belongs to the recordings’ later tape-pack history; the event itself is One Nation’s A Match Made at Wembley. The two names tell different parts of the story: one identifies the rave, the other the way some of its tapes circulated.
