Contribute to the Archive

The collection already holds tens of thousands of recordings, but rave history is scattered everywhere. A tape, flyer, hard-drive folder or half-labelled radio recording may contain something that has not survived anywhere else.

What we are interested in

Send what survived

Rave tapes & tape packs

Original cassettes, copies, rips and recordings from events or promoters.

Radio recordings

Pirate radio, legal dance radio, guest shows and studio sessions.

Flyers, tickets & artwork

Scans or photographs of visual material, even if the event is not yet in the archive.

Information & corrections

Line-ups, dates, venues, MC identification and memories that make an existing recording more useful.

Upload material

MediaFire Drop-Box

The existing MediaFire upload route is being kept because people already know it. Use it to send material directly to Rave Archive UK.

iPhone / iPad upload route

Open MediaFire FileDrop →

On iPhone or iPad, use this button to open MediaFire’s hosted upload page. It is also available as a fallback if the embedded uploader does not appear.

Please include whatever you know: DJ, MC, promoter, event, venue, approximate year, radio station, source tape or anything written on the cassette. “Unknown 1994 jungle tape” is still useful — the archive can sometimes identify it later.
