Clash of the Titans
Seven surviving recordings preserve a late-1996 One Nation night with the MC combinations kept as part of the event record.
Late ’96 caught on tape
Hype, Kenny Ken, Randall, Andy C, Darren Jay, Grooverider and Micky Finn survive alongside Det, Remadee, Skibadee and Stevie Hyper D.
The seven surviving RAUK recordings preserve DJ and MC identities together rather than stripping the tapes back to headline names.
Det appears with Hype and Kenny Ken, Remadee with Randall, Skibadee with Andy C, and Stevie Hyper D with Darren Jay and Grooverider. Micky Finn’s surviving recording carries both Stevie Hyper D and Skibadee.
Independent set listings also place Andy C & MC Skibadee and Darren Jay & Stevie Hyper D at this same One Nation event, date and venue.
