Dreamscape 20 The Big Outdoors
Brafield, Northampton • 9 September 1995. Dreamscape returned outdoors at enormous scale, with four named arena strands preserved in the later tape catalogue and four Rave Archive UK recordings — including one important room-label conflict that remains visible rather than being guessed away.

The event at a glance
Promoter history, surviving flyers, Rave Archive recordings and later tape catalogues each preserve a different part of the night.
A peak-scale Dreamscape
This is one of the moments where the promoter story, arena structure and surviving recordings each add a different part of the picture.
Dreamscape’s official history describes the September 1995 return to Brafield as Dreamscape 20 ‘The Big Outdoors’, attended by around 20,000 ravers and remembered as a crowning point in Murray Beetson’s career. That promoter account establishes the importance and scale of the event without requiring later tape catalogues to do work they cannot prove.
The surviving secondary catalogue groups recordings under four distinct strands: Rollers Convention 2, Skylab One, Tek No Prisoners 3 and The House That Progress Built. Rave Archive UK currently has four directly confirmed Mixcloud transfers from the event: DJ SS, Kenny Ken, Clarkee and Pete Russell.
There is a useful contradiction inside that evidence. The Rave Archive SS upload is titled ‘Arena 1 Sky Lab’, while the later commercial catalogue places SS in its Rollers Convention grouping. The archive therefore preserves both claims and marks the mismatch for future research instead of silently changing either source. Kenny Ken aligns with the Rollers Convention material, Clarkee with Tek No Prisoners, and Pete Russell with The House That Progress Built.
