The official Dreamscape history describes the discovery and expansion of The Sanctuary as the breakthrough that allowed Murray Beetson’s ESP operation to create Dreamscape at warehouse scale. Dreamscape 3 arrives early in that story: the same venue, the same organisation and a fast-returning audience culture built around repeat nights rather than isolated events.

The eight recordings currently preserved here capture Carl Cox, Top Buzz, Fabio & Grooverider, DJ Sy, DJ Dougal, Swan-E and Mastervibe/Picci combinations. A later Dreamscape tape-pack catalogue also lists Mastersafe, showing again why the surviving Rave Archive page and the wider recording footprint should not be treated as identical.

Musically this is still the broad hardcore era, before later genre labels settled into fixed boundaries. The value of keeping the event intact is precisely that those names can be heard side by side, attached to one room and one date.
