Dreamscape 4 Proof of the Pudding
The Sanctuary, Milton Keynes • 29 May 1992. Dreamscape 4 closes the opening run with one of the strongest surviving early Dreamscape recording footprints, including LTJ Bukem with MC Conrad, DJ Hype, Ray Keith and DJ Phantasy.

Dreamscape 4 at a glance
Eight recordings are available here, while surviving tape-pack catalogues also document Mastersafe and Clarkee material from the night.
Early Dreamscape captured on tape
Dreamscape 4 is especially useful historically because multiple surviving tapes allow the same event to be heard from very different DJ perspectives.
By late May 1992, Dreamscape had returned to The Sanctuary repeatedly within a few months. The official Dreamscape history identifies the venue itself as a foundational part of the organisation: a room Murray Beetson believed could deliver the warehouse scale the scene needed, expanded through practical investment before Dreamscape was born there.
The Rave Archive collection preserves DJ Dougal, DJ Phantasy, LTJ Bukem with MC Conrad, Ellis Dee, DJ Hype, Bryan Gee, Ray Keith and Swan-E. Other Dreamscape tape-pack catalogues also identify Mastersafe and Clarkee, making this another night where the surviving recorded history is broader than the playable collection here.
One of the strongest pieces of the surviving story is the LTJ Bukem / MC Conrad tape: it survived not simply as a name in a catalogue but as a recording repeatedly remembered and circulated by listeners. Ray Keith’s set has likewise continued to be discussed decades later. That afterlife is part of why the event stands as a historical night rather than a loose collection of uploads.
