The Sanctuary, Milton Keynes • Saturday 19 April 2003. Telepathy in association with Xcon 2 Icon brought a full drum & bass event to The Sanctuary under MC Bassman’s Shadow Demon Blaster banner. Four Rave Archive UK recordings survive here, matched to the proper event identity and flyer artwork.
Telepathy reaches The Sanctuary
By 2003 Telepathy’s sound and MC culture had moved a long way from the mid-1990s Club UN tapes, but the core live energy was still there: heavyweight drum & bass DJs, multiple MCs moving across the night, and Bassman’s name pushed right to the front of the event identity.
The four RAUK recordings preserve Brockie with Bass, Trigga, Shabba, Shaydee & Juice; Kenny Ken with Fearless, Riddla & Bassman; Funky Flirt & Nicky Blackmarket with MCs; and Micky Finn with Fearless, Bass & Shaydee. The combinations make this another event where the vocal side of the rave is central to what survives.
A Concrete / Andy C recording from the same date is also documented in specialist tracklist archives, with Bassman, Fearless, GQ, Shaydee and Trigga associated with the set. It remains a useful lead for the archive, but the four recordings below are the Rave Archive UK transfers already held for the night.

Fearless, Bassman, Shaydee, Trigga, Shabba, Riddla and Juice appear across the surviving archive. That gives the page a strong picture of Telepathy’s 2003 live style: the DJ set is only half the story, with the MC crew carrying a huge part of the room’s identity.
