Surviving flyers, recordings and tracklist evidence converge on 30 November 1996, while a later catalogue preserves a conflicting November date as part of the tape-history record.

Two surviving flyer scans and Phatmedia agree on Saturday 30 November 1996.
The two Rave Archive artwork scans explicitly print Saturday 30 November 1996. Phatmedia lists Dreamscape 23 on the same date, and the Rave Archive recordings below are also labelled 30.11.96. A later House of Music tape catalogue carries a different November date, so the discrepancy is noted here without changing the date printed on the surviving flyers.
Dreamscape 23 returned to The Sanctuary Music Arenas late in 1996 under the ‘A View to a Thrill’ title. The flyer gives the night its strongest period anchor: event name, venue and date all sit together on surviving artwork.
The second scan is shown alongside the first because both survive in the Rave Archive collection and both point to the same Saturday night.
Five exact Rave Archive UK recordings are preserved below: DJ SS & Warren G, DJ Randall & MC Fearless, DJ Hype, Micky Finn & MC GQ and DJ Dazee. Beyond those five uploads, a 12-tape Dreamscape 23 pack is independently documented with paired sides covering Slipmatt / Dougal, Sy / Vibes, Seduction / Hixxy, Brisk / Ramos, Vinylgroover / Jimmy J, Randall / Kenny Ken, Hype / Andy C, Grooverider / Micky Finn, SS / Dazee, Clarkee / Scorpio, Loftgroover / Producer and HMS / Lomas. The Slipmatt side is specifically described in surviving tracklist documentation as a studio set. The tape pack is evidence of the recordings that circulated from the event; it is not treated as a complete running order or a substitute for the full flyer line-up.

Twelve tapes, a much bigger audio footprint
The commercial pack preserves far more of Dreamscape 23 than the five copies currently on the Rave Archive UK Mixcloud. It also shows how widely the night crossed hardcore, jungle / drum & bass and harder techno.
Tracklist researchers document the Dreamscape 23 release as a 12-pack recorded for the 30 November 1996 event at The Sanctuary. Each cassette paired two DJ sides, giving a surviving recorded footprint of twenty-four named DJ appearances across the pack.
That surviving pack matters because it lets the archive separate three different things that are often blurred together online: who was advertised for the event, which performances were actually recorded and sold afterwards, and which of those recordings are currently held or uploaded by Rave Archive UK.
One useful wrinkle is the Slipmatt side, which the surviving tracklist record identifies as a studio set. That means the pack itself cannot simply be read as a literal running order of live sets from the venue.
