About The Protagonist<\/h2>

The Protagonist is a DJ and music producer whose identity combines live performance, vinyl culture and original production. His sets move confidently across progressive house and trance, classic and tech trance, hard trance, hard house and breaks, while his own releases add another side to his work beyond the decks.<\/p>

Vinyl remains an important part of his DJ approach, particularly through classic trance and hard-trance sessions. That connection to physical records sits alongside a growing production catalogue, including solo material and collaborations released through Molon Labe Records.<\/p>

Alongside his work as an artist, The Protagonist is also part of the management team behind our live-streaming operation, working alongside Toddy Tempo and the wider team while maintaining his own distinct artist identity.<\/p>

The Protagonist\u2019s live sets have moved through progressive house, progressive trance, classic and tech trance, hard trance, hard house and breaks, with vinyl also playing a part in his sessions.<\/p>

Rather than defining him by a single genre, his selections reflect a broader electronic-music background and an interest in building a journey across different tempos, eras and moods.<\/p><\/div>\n

Live Streams & The Team<\/h2>

The Protagonist became part of the wider story through the MixMaster competition, reaching the final in 2024<\/strong>. As that competition chapter came to an end, the relationship continued rather than disappearing with it, becoming part of the team and direction that Toddy Tempo chose to carry forward.<\/p>

Today, The Protagonist is part of the management team as well as one of the DJs involved in our live-streaming side. His role connects the creative side of playing and producing music with the wider team behind the sessions.<\/p>

He also appears through the live-streaming side connected with Rave Archive, while Rave Archive itself remains the dedicated home for its wider archive, history and culture.<\/p><\/div>\n\n
